Kasia Ślesińska is a documentary photographer based between Kraków and Warsaw, Poland.
A graduate of the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava (Czech Republic), Ślesińska holds a master's degree in Cultural Studies and New Media from the Pedagogical University in Kraków and a bachelor's in Polish Philology from the Jagiellonian University.
In 2020, she won the Grand Press Photo award in the Photo Young Picture Story category. In 2022, she placed 2nd in the same competition in the Climate and Responsibility Picture Story category. Member of the Hydroza collective. She won the Canon Student Development Programme 2022. She was the 2023 Vital Impact Mentorship Recipient and is a member of the Women Photograph collective.
Her work has been published in journals and magazines such as Gazeta Wyborcza, Polityka, Press, Pismo, and NZZ.
